Vibration Category III

Training Class

Vibration Category III

Advance with our VCAT-III course and learn machine dynamics, resonance testing and correction, analyzer capabilities, and how to lead a vibration program.

Course Description

Learn to be an effective senior vibration analyst – capable of diagnosing common fault conditions, performing resonance testing, correcting resonance problems, and leading Category I and II analysts – with advanced 3D animations and interactive simulations that make everything easy to understand.

You are in the right place if you are ready to advance your vibration analysis career. Our VCAT-III ISO Category III course teaches you what you need to run a successful condition monitoring program, mentor junior analysts, and gain a deeper understanding of machine dynamics, time waveform analysis, phase analysis, cross-channel testing, and fault correction.

Once you complete the training, you can take the exam with confidence and become certified to ISO Category III via the internationally respected Mobius Institute Board of Certification.

Who Should Take This Class?

  • Those who have a senior role in a condition monitoring team with others reporting to them to verify diagnoses.

  • Individuals who will be responsible for the most complex fault conditions and need to perform complex tests to validate fault conditions (e.g., resonance) and find a solution.

  • Individuals who want to be a leader of the vibration team or take a leading role in diagnosing faults and making repair recommendations.

  • Those who want to understand all data collector options, special test capabilities, all analysis tools and understand the widest range of fault conditions.

  • Those who want to understand machine dynamics (natural frequencies, resonance, ODS), how to perform resonance testing and how to correct resonance problems.
